During his high school years, Doruk represented T\u00fcrkiye as a member of the national ski team in international competitions. After graduating from A\u00e7\u0131 High School in 2020, he earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as an investor at a venture capital fund investing in research projects across Europe and the UK. He then pursued a master\u2019s degree in Computer Engineering at University College London, where he focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and databases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following his postgraduate studies, Doruk joined the founding team of TuringDB, a London-based startup. He currently works on data and artificial intelligence systems for the industrial, biotechnology, and financial sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outside of his professional life, Doruk enjoys traveling, kitesurfing, and playing chess. He has also completed the 2025 Stockholm Marathon and the 2026 Rome Marathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
